Offshore Resources / Human Resources Manager

With 32 years of human resources and recruiting experience in the offshore oil & gas industry, Ms. Clausen joined Aqueos as the Offshore Resources/Human Resources Manager. Prior to joining Aqueos in 2012, she served as the Logistics Manager for Kaplan Industry Venezuela, C.A./GOME in Ojeda, Venezuela, where she was requested by GOME after only three months on the job to handle paperwork processing and provide translation services to clients.  She also trained Venezuelan personnel in logistics system, visa and paperwork processing, and international consulate interaction.  She came to Kaplan Industry from Chet Morrison Contractors where she was the Diving Personnel Coordinator, responsible for securing B1/OCS exemption within three months, enabling the company to hire foreign employees on dive boats and saving thousands of dollars.  She was also responsible for introducing structured tools into the Diving and Project Management Group, training colleagues in creation and upkeep of logistics board and personnel files.  She also held the position of Human Resources Personnel Logistics Leader at Stolt Offshore and won a reputation as the visa go-to expert for company offices worldwide as well as for external oilfield companies.  She was selected to support personnel, transportation, and logistics activities for multi-million-dollar projects.  She has prior experience as Human Resources Logistics Coordinator, Administrative Assistant to Operations, Personnel Assistant, and Human Resources Administrator. Ms. Clausen is bilingual (English/Spanish) and has a degree in accounting. She has also attended many courses in professional development, office software programs and technical skills.
